Stay in a village with a family, the best way to experience a village life. Most houses have electricity, mobile phone coverage and good internet coverage and live amongst very peaceful people.
One of the popular and frequently used village stays we provide is the Baining Guest House owned by the Fire Dance chief, Mr. Isaac ToLigur. Complimentary to the stay, over a bond fire at night, he will tell you the origins of the fire dance and how sacred it is to his people.
He also provides a number of activities including, the fire dance itself, bird watching, setting of pig traps, snake catching, and tracking (bush walk).
